Amin Ghassemi, born to an Architect and a Historian/Artist, began his journey into design as a young child by trying to imitate his father’s sketches (the architect) and by playing with his Legos. With the encouragement of his parents and his uncle he picked up photography at the age of 5; photography is one his main hobbies to this day.
After moving to the U.S. in 2005 he started majoring in Industrial Design but switched to Design in 2011 after his acceptance to CSULB (California State University of Long Beach). Amin was accepted into the prestigious Interior Architectural Design program in 2013 after submitting a portfolio of his work. He is a 3 time recipient of CSULB President’s Honor List Certificate and graduated with honors (cum laude) in 2015.
