This carved plaster sculpture was the result of a form study for a sculpture in a “Three-Dimensional Design” class. The goal of this project was to challenge the students to visualize and use the principals of negative space to create a form. This sculpture was carved out using plaster carving tools out of a block of self-poured plaster.
